Moving Inventory into or out of a Container

Note: In order to perform a mass move, the role of the logged-in user must contain access to the Inventory Mass Move feature.

The inventory in a container may be moved out of this container and into another container or into a physical location; alternatively, the inventory in a physical location may be moved into a container. When you move the inventory in a container, the parent location of the container remains the same but the inventory in the container is moved out of the container and into the location or container. Inventory is moved into or out of a container at the Mass Move page. To move the inventory in a container, please refer to the steps that follow.

  1. Select  Move > Mass Move from the navigation pane.

  2. The Mass Move page appears.
